Twenty-eight luxurious rooms with a choice of terrace on first floor or private sit outs on the ground floor make this elegant resort a popular choice for the discerning traveler. It is situated about 10 kilometers away from the Bijrani gate of Jim Corbett National Park on Ranikhet road. Very spacious rooms, large bathrooms, landscaped gardens, excellent service, mango and litchi trees, constantly flowing Kosi river, reserved forests and hills beyond the river, scrumptious meal times, elephant rides, the list is so long that we took a long time to decide where to begin and where to stop describing this Resort at Jim Corbett Park. All we can say is that the views, the vastness and the vistas of this Corbett resort will definitely impress and enamor you.

This resort at Corbett is made up of cottages with guest lounges and en-suite rooms on the ground and first floor along with guest lounges on both floors. Bedrooms have views of the green garden or the mellifluous river and the reserves beyond. Take a walk down to the river, dip your feet in and chatter away to the birds or your human companions. Once tired, go down to the restaurant for meals cooked to perfection by well-trained and experienced chefs. While you are nourishing your body, the large windows will nourish your soul with views of the gardens, birds, trees and hills.

The fun at this Indian Home Stay does not end there. A huge swimming pool for you to dip in if you travel during the summer season awaits you after your tryst in the jungles of Corbett. You may or may not spot tigers and wildlife on your safari, but the resort itself will work overtime to keep you busy with live music and bonfires in the evening. Kid can indulge in carom, TT, Badminton, etc. Of course, if your aim is relaxation, idling and peace, then just move away from the common spaces! The courteous and smiling staff, the space, solitude and scenic beauty of this lovely resort at Jim Corbett needs to be experienced to be appreciated.

About Location

Nestling in the foothills of the Himalayas , Corbett National Park has extremely varied topography and vegetation. This gives it a rich diversity of habitat and natural beauty. Flat valleys are interspersed with hilly ridges and the Park's rolling grasslands known as the 'Chaurs' provide visitors with an excellent view of the animals. The Ramganga River flows through the Park and little forest streams tumble through the ravines. While dense stands of Sal cloak the higher ridges, mixed deciduous forests are found throughout the park. There are over 110 varieties of trees, 51 species of shrubs and over 33 kinds of bamboo and grasses. Corbett has a good tiger population. It was here that the "Project Tiger" was launched in 1973. Four species of deer - Hog deer, Sambhar, Spotted deer & Barking deer and other prey like wild boar, support the predators. Besides tiger, Corbett biosphere reserve is a haven for 50 mammals, 580 kinds of birds and 25 reptile species. The park has elephants, the Himalayan black bear in the higher elevations, sloth bear, variety of lesser cats and a large variety of avi-fauna. Along the banks of the Ramganga are the fish-eating crocodiles ( gharial ) and the mugger or marsh crocodile. The river is rich in the Mahseer - although angling is not permitted inside the National Park. Jhirna Zone falls within the southern part of the Corbett national park. It is the only tourism zone of Corbett national park which remains open throughout the year. Best time to visit is from October to June.

All good things about this place...location, rooms, staff behaviour, food...what not. We had been on a short family trip...we got a king size well maintained room...excellent view of the river...rooms are so big that kids can play comfortably...lawns are well maintained, restaurant is excellent and the food is even better...very good large sized swimming pool...they have an elephant as well for jungle safari across river on chargeable basis...worth paying the fact we wanted to stay a day more in this resort but we had to rush for onwards journey....we would surely come back to this resort with our office colleagues...a nice place for picnic as well.. Santosh Kataria - Ghaziabad

An excellent resort. The location is suberb. The hotel is right on the banks of a river.Never expected it to be so good. I had been here with my family and friends. Had so much to do. The best part was that one could see the jungle right across the room. The elephant ride we had taken, ........they picked us up directly from our resort and went across the river into the deep jungle. What an experience. One can soak their legs in the river water and chill in the evenings and if lucky, could even spot elephants and deers on the other end of the river, like we did. Food is excellent. Never expected a home like feeling. Rooms are pretty big. Clean and tidy. Gud service. The best part about the room was ,it was a big bungalow with 4 rooms facing each other. So if u are travelling with a big group, all could accomodate in this huge bungalow. Kids will enjoy it for sure. They even has entertainment available in the evenings especially for kids. indoor game includes table tennis and outdoor games can be played if you like to play cricket. Swimming pool too is quite big. One can take an evening walk around the resort as the entire resort is planted with mango trees. Very well planned resort. Kishore Bahrgava - Noida

This is good resort with beautiful landscaping over the resort, lot of open space with a central lawn and the resort is covered with Mango and Litchi tree. Its situated on the river bed so you can easily walk down there. Rooms are very big with a common sitting area on each floor to do tash party, drinks etc as well as they are very neat and clean. The staff are very helpful and the room service excellent. There is lot of things to do both indoor and outdoor like TT, Badminton, Volley ball, Ludo, Chess etc. Every evening they organize a Bon fire with Live music in the central Lawn which is awesome, you can request them for Tambola or any other such games if there is a big crowd. The food is decicious especially their cakes as they have their own bakery and they server fresh baked cakes in any form with each meal. Its worth the money and good for couple or groups or family gathering as it has something for everyone.Love to go there again..... Brajesh - New Delhi

Just go there............this one does not need a review. Visited this place for 3 nights with my wife & my 10 month old son who enjoyed more being here than being at home with rest of the family........ultra luxurious,spacious.....a very prompt & friendly was good....tiger camp is best for dining...another property of their's. This 1 really beats every other property in the vicinity by far. Paresh Gupta - New Delhi

As far as we are concerned - this is the best place in Corbett - would go there again & highly recommended. The staff is so good that they even play with kids, nice Live music in the evenings, food is excellent, it has lush green well maintained lawns - the rooms are awesome and huge. Very well managed. Go for the elephant safari - its worth it. L.F. Delhi

An excellent place to unwind with the family or alone. We went there in the first week of June.. and found this place more than expected. The weather was very pleasant around 22 degrees C in morning and evenings and 27 max in noon. Its a beautiful developed site in mango farms. There is river close by as the name of the resort suggests. The food was excellent. Kids can also have fun as they have lot of activities to do.The accommodation is luxurious.Staff to is very friendly. we suggest a stay of 3 days atleast as one day you can do jungle safari second day one can visit nanitaal and one day you can have fun with your family or friends.Raj - Gurgaon
